1. Sourdough
Sourdough is made up of composed of water and flour that pre-ferments for several days relying on naturally occurring yeast and bacteria to make bread rise.
These breads carry sour flavors that can take anywhere from days to hours to develop. It may be easier to digest it than other breads due to the breakdown of carbs and proteins during the fermentation process.
It can be made with wheat and white flour, in which the whole wheat carries more fiber whereas the white flour may contain iron and vitamin B.
